𝕂𝕚𝕕-ℂ𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚔 𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚝 🎨

It's a bittersweet phase when your little people who used to 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 on sensory play and pretend playing mud-pies get a bit older and are looking for something a little more challenging, yet creative.

This is where chalk dust chalk paint comes to fruition! I've said it once and I'll say it again... there's magical about playing with an item you helped create by yourself! For this, all we simply need is a food grater, empty Parmesan cheese shaker (or herb shaker), a paper plate and a paintbrush with water!

After grating a stick of chalk over a paper plate, all your kiddo needs to do is pour the dust into the shaker by folding the plate in half. Minimally messy! The key to painting is finding the perfect ratio of water to chalk dust. The less water used, the brighter the color on pavement! 😉

This activity saved a ton of "I'm bored" whining, and costs under $10 for supplies!! Perfect big-kid summer sensory activity!
