Rainbow Rings

Writer: katiedailey55katiedailey55

What can you do with a paper towel holder and wooden rings?! Many things!

If you have toddlers who like to stack items, or preschoolers who love making colorful designs or patterns, this activity might be for your family!

Ways to use this activity:

  • Name colors aloud and have your child follow your auditory directions for placing rings.

  • Identify different colors of the rainbow while sorting colors and stacking.

  • Talk about patterns and demonstrate making patterns from colored rings.

  • Sort and stack rings by varying sizes.

  • Pretend play that your rings are ANYTHING you can imagine and let the creativity run wild!
