It's been a little while since we've done some fun ice cream sensory play! I created this sensory play station for a sensory class where I was a host earlier in July! Now it is in our playroom where my boys have been loving playing with it every day! It's pretty much the easiest thing… Multicolored, multi-sized, multi-textured pom-poms, paper straws, pieces of ribbon, plastic ice cream cones and plastic ice cream dishes. Lots of tongs and scoopers as well! We also got out the play cash register and play cash and coins to get a little extra math practice in for the bigger kids. For this, I colored one side of a tiny deck of cards black and wrote white numbers on them. Then I and laminated each card and cut them out. We use these and leprechaun coins with numbers written in Sharpie on them! This is awesome addition and subtraction practice for the bigger kiddos!
I hope this is something you can enjoy in your home as it is pretty low budget and definitely low mess!
