This week and next, our basement is getting gutted due to water damage... so why not incorporate some Construction Sensory Play in our daily routine while we are listening to hammering and sawing anyways?! 🤪
Honestly, my kiddos LOVE anything construction -based! I absolutely love this table, mainly because of all of the loose parts and imagination that can be incorporated. We added tongs and scoops and bowls, but also they used their trucks and diggers as well!
This table is made up of:
Corks (not all collected by me 🤣)
Wooden circles https://amzn.to/4ccR16Q
Red fish tank gems https://amzn.to/3LV0aWS
Stacking boulders https://amzn.to/3SBA9jd
Wooden buttons https://amzn.to/3SFeG94
Circle magnets https://amzn.to/4cfF2VS
Magnetic building tools https://amzn.to/3yozef5
The circle magnets were interesting, because they realized halfway through playing that they attract to the magnetic crane! This then brought out a quick lesson on magnetism and metals vs. glass and wood!
